At what age can children start classes?


Starting at age three (3), your child is eligible to participate in our ‘Little Champs’ class which is preschoolers Martial Arts training. Our Jr. Taekwondo Classes are designed for school age children’s class which is most popular. Life Champ also provides Teens and Adult classes as well.

Will Martial Arts make my child more aggressive?


We teach a practical, responsible self-defense program. Children learn that martial arts is not about violence but about developing skills they can use safely in a tough situation. Any aggressions the child brings into the program usually disappears with continued training and increased self-esteem.

How safe is it to learn martial arts?


Taekwondo is safe and fun for students of all ages and physical abilities. Classes are supervised by certified instructors. All students are taught techniques in a step-by-step manner and at their own pace. A thorough stretching routine, matted flooring, and the use of protective safety equipment are all part of our commitment to ensuring student safety.

Who teaches the classes?


Each of our locations has a staff of certified instructors to supervise, teach, and motivate students on their Taekwondo journey. Classes are led by Certified Black Belt instructors who hold black belt degree and possess years of experience in both training and teaching. Our instructors are assisted by additional Black Belt staff members, to ensure even more personal attention for each student. You are going to love working with our Life Champ team!

How is Taekwondo different from other martial arts?


The different martial arts all originated in different countries, thousands of years ago, as forms of military training. Karate comes from Japan and Kung Fu from China. Taekwondo is native to Korea. Taekwondo has grown to become the most popular form of martial arts practiced in the world. In terms of techniques, Taekwondo emphasizes kicks more than other martial arts, making it ideal for improving balance, flexibility, and endurance. Kicking is also a powerful form of self-defense for students of any size.

Can students with special needs or physical challenges learn Taekwondo?


Our experienced instructors have worked with a wide range and spectrum of students over the past twenty six years. In many cases, we have been able to successfully connect, communicate, and challenge students in a manner that matches their needs. Every situation is different, and we are always willing to meet with and evaluate any potential student to determine how Taekwondo could best be taught to them.

My child has very busy schedule to attend other sports activity. How many classes does my child have to take per week?


We recommend our students attend 2 times per week as a beginner level. But some of students have schedule conflict due to other activity. There is 1 time per week program is also available. When students get into intermediate level and want to learn more in Taekwondo, Leadership Training will be available, and students can take classes 3 or more times a week.

How much do classes cost?


The tuition of our classes range from $20 to $26 per class depending on the program you choose. Do you have any special discount rate for sibling or entire family?


Taekwondo is great family activity and Life Champ’s family classes are always most popular classes. We have special Family discounts available and the programs for 2 members or entire family member are offered.

During the summer we are taking vacation for one month. Can you hold membership during the summer?


Life Champ has Membership Freeze policy for any students with any reason. Simply you can pick up a Membership Freeze Form and let our team know in 15 days prior to your Freeze date.
